The G22 is a semi-automatic pistol chambered in .40 S&W. The G22 was introduced to the market by Glock, Inc. in 1990 and has been available for purchase since 1991. The G22 features multiple safety mechanisms including a firing pin block and trigger bar disconnector which prevents accidental discharge if it is dropped or mishandled.
